The family and friends of Jean Humphreys established this bursary. Jean graduated from nursing in 1930. From 1945 to 1957 she lived with her family in Penny, BC. This was an isolated logging community and she was often called upon to use her nursing skills. Her experiences during those years made her a pioneer. |
