Name Coastal GasLink Pathway to Pipeline Readiness: CNC Skills Fund Bursary
Description For more than 65 years, TC Energy has proudly operated pipelines, storage facilities and power-generation plants that support life in Canada, the U.S. and Mexico. TC Energy is committed to investing in skills training and education programs in northern British Columbia in an effort to help develop a skilled local workforce and enhance opportunities for Aboriginal community members to participate in the many opportunities expected to come to this region related to LNG development and other industries. This bursary is available to applicants enrolled in a select full-time trades foundation program at campuses along the pipeline pathway: Mackenzie, Fort St James, Vanderhoof, Burns Lake and Prince George. Preference will be given to Indigenous applicants.

Eligibility Open to full-time, Fall intake students in select trades foundations programs at CNC campuses along the pipeline pathway: Mackenzie, Fort St James, Vanderhoof, Burns Lake, and Prince George. First preference will be given to Indigenous applicants, further preference to those from communities along the pipeline route. Proof of ancestry/copy of status card to be included in application. A brief statement describing community ties along the Coastal GasLink pipeline route is to be included in application.
