The family of Sharron Dezell established the Sharron Dezell Early Childhood Educator Bursary in memory of Sharron who dedicated much of her life to the field of early childhood education (ECE). Sharron was passionate about teaching, and had a significant positive impact on thousands of children throughout her career. She was recognized for her many contributions to the ECE field through multiple awards, and will be remembered for the commitment she showed to her craft and the deep care she had for her students. |

| Eligibility |
Open to all full-time students who have successfully completed their first year of the Early Child Care and Learning Diploma (ECCLD) program, and are actively registered in their second year of ECCLD at the College of New Caledonia Prince George campus. Preference to students demonstrating financial need. If there are insufficient applications demonstrating financial need, THE COLLEGE may offer award based on GPA and demonstration of overall standing in all areas of the program and CNC departments. |
