The purpose of this award is to provide some financial support to second-year international students who have invested their time, resources, and energy to attending CNC, and who are either half-way or further towards completing an academic, vocational or trades program.
CNC recognizes that international students face unique financial barriers, including lack of access to student loans and scholarship funds, high tuition rates, employment restrictions, as well as potential for issues such as political unrest, foreign natural disasters and currency fluctuation. These are all real world challenges that can severely affect an international student’s financial ability to continue with their program. The PayMyTuition international student scholarship is intended to help support international student retention and student success.
Funds for this award are donated by PayMyTuition, CNC’s financial partner for international wire transfers, tuition payments and currency exchange. |
| Eligibility |
Open to all full-time international students who are in second year, and/or have completed a minimum of 30 credits at the College of New Caledonia. Applicant must be:
- an international student in good academic and financial standing,
- currently enrolled full-time, in the Fall semester,
- in compliance with IRCC with a valid study permit, and
- have completed a minimum of 30 credits towards their credential.
