Description | Resource Connector North (RCN) Society is honoured to provide Bursaries/Scholarships to Trades Foundation Level students at CNC in memory and recognition of one of their Founding Board members, Mrs. Rosalind Thorn. Roz, born and raised in Prince George, worked tirelessly throughout her career in promoting the construction industry and the economic growth of Northern BC. She was an alumni and former board member of CNC. As CEO of the Prince George Construction Association, she continually advocated for trades training and other construction related training for the North. The Resource Connector North Society was established to help connect businesses in northern British Columbia with mining and exploration companies, with the goal of increasing the range of services and products to support mine development. RCN is a strong advocate of diversification within the province’s resources sector, which is accomplished through relationship building and information sharing. Their annual business directory and magazine, promotes networking and partnerships in the North. |
