Name BC Oil and Gas Commission Indigenous Education Scholarship - Prince George
Description The BC Oil and Gas Commission (Commission) is a single-window regulatory agency with responsibilities for overseeing oil and gas operations in British Columbia, including exploration, development, pipeline transportation and reclamation. The Commission's Indigenous Education Program is a partnership with several post-secondary institutions across the Province to provide scholarships and training programs for Indigenous peoples. The goal of this program is to provide Indigenous people with tangible skills that can benefit them and their communities and promote First Nation and Indigenous peoples’ participation in Commission operations beyond the consultation process.
