| Description | This fund was established in memory of Stephen Ollech by his family, friends and colleagues. Steve was a former instructor in the drafting program at CNC and worked as a draftsman for over 25 years. Steve loved buildings and design and did both architectural and mechanical drafting. Steve believed in the intrinsic worth and merit of education. He valued education as a method of inquiry by which one gains knowledge to pass on and share with others. It is in this spirit that this scholarship will assist students to pursue their goals and ensure Steve’s continuing contribution to education at the College of New Caledonia. |

| Eligibility | Open to all full-time, first-year students. One award for Civil Engineering Technology program students. One award for students within Health Sciences programs, including: Nursing, Licensed Practical Nursing, Health Care Assistant, Medical Radiology Technology, Medical Laboratory Technology, Dental Assisting, and Dental Hygiene, at the College of New Caledonia, all campuses. Application requirements: 1. CNC online scholarship application. 2. A 300-500 word typed essay setting out education and career goals, including any community volunteer experience. |
