Name Phil Bodman/ Sam Ketcham Memorial Bursary
Description The Council of Forest Industries, Northern Operations Forest Education program annually provides one $1,000. bursary know as the Phil Bodman/Sam Ketchum Memorial Bursary in recognition of the two of the many pioneers who helped build the forest industry in central BC. This bursary is to be awarded to a needy student in the Natural Resources and Forest Technology program, from the Northern Interior Region, who is obtaining a 2.5 grade point average or better, and provided that they are not the recipient of a scholarship or other grant that would eliminate the need for a bursary. The COFI Northern Education Region encompasses the area from Valemount to Hazelton and from Quesnel to Fort Nelson.

Eligibility Open to all first-or-second year, full-time students in the Natural Resources and Forest Technology program who are in need of financial assistance and who reside within the boundaries of the Northern Interior Region of the Council of Forest Industries Northern Operations. To be eligible, the student must not have received a scholarship or other award which would eliminate the need for a bursary.
